My name is Chelsea. My dad, Michael Hendrix, is currently in ICU at UAB and has been for the last 8 days. Dad originally went to the hospital Thursday, May 8th, because he lost feeling in his legs and his left leg from the knee down was turning blue. What we didn't know was he had lost blood flow to all his intestines. Dad has been through 9 surgeries, a left leg above-the-knee amputation, and has also been on a ventilator since Thursday night. He is looking at a very long recovery process. We have been traveling back and forth every day to be with him, which adds up and is very expensive. I am asking for a little help. This will be dedicated to making sure Dad has someone with him each day as he recovers. It will also go to help set him up with a proper bedroom when he does get to come home.

we suddenly lost dad last night. dad didn't have any insurance I am asking for help to put my daddy to rest.
