Hi my name Rosemarie I am 25 Yrs old and one of 6 children.... I am asking for help as this is my last resort . For those of you who don't know me I was raised in a loving home and lost my mom to cancer when I was 6 Yrs old.... Which led me to take on the motherly figure in my home to 4 brothers and a younger sister. Unfortunately, addiction has stricken my family as well as so many others...My 4 brothers became a victim. Anthony who was 8 Yrs older than me lost his battle at age 29 and we buried him in May of 2012 And Raymond who was 3 years Older than me also lost his life to this demon at age 26 in September of 2013 my other brother Chris is 3 Yrs clean and I pray everyday he stays strong and than there is my younger brother Michael who is still struggling....my life has been changed forever due to this disease and everyday I live with the constant fear that I will lose another loved one.....
Michael has started his road to recovery with help from Addiction Angel who was able to get my brother in a rehab treatment center in florida that is wonderful and clinically where he needs to be.... There are expenses that still need to be covered for Michaels continued treatment and my siblings and I are doing the best we can as well as my dad who suffers from Parkinson's Disease. And finances are tight.....
Recovery can be a long process and we would love for him to be able to stay and work on his treatment. It takes time mentally and physically to heal. And staying in florida and getting the treatment he needs may very well be what he needed all along. A new start, a new location away from his normal routine. He needs structure and on going treatment. We werent able too do much for our other brothers so at this point I am desperate to save Michael. We are coming together as a family too try our best too afford his treatment, but it is more than a struggle. So we ask from the bottom of our hearts from our friends and family for a little help. It doesnt have too be much! Just something too help keep his treatment going and help save his life. Thank You in advance too everyone
