David really needs our help while he undergoes new cancer treatment away from home! PLEASE READ!!!
My name is Jenn. David is my boyfriend. I met David in November 2000 & we quickly became friends & stayed in contact over the years even though we led separate lives. David has had a REALLY tough battle with cancer over the years.
He went through a very difficult time & beat stage 4 Hodgkins lymphoma in 2012! He went through lots of treatments, therapies & surgeries throughout those years. He came through the other side against ALL odds, very grateful & living life to the fullest. His doctor called him a walking miracle. He now has a 23 year old daughter who he loves more than anything in the world & is so grateful for the years he’s been able to watch her grow into a gorgeous young woman.
Fast forward to January 2025…David was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 3 non small cell lung cancer. So, chemo started again. The 2 of us reunited again & became inseparable. In July 2025 David had part of his right lung removed with the hope of being cancer free. After surgery he started monthly immunotherapy. In a recent PET scan, despite the immunotherapy, a tumor in a lymph node continued to grow significantly.
David is trying to remain optimistic but some days are really hard. Some days are great & some days David struggles just to even walk on his own.
He starts a combo of chemo & this new proton radiation on 2/9/26. This will be a 7 week process, hours away from home so he will need help with funds for essentials like hotel stay, ensure drinks, food, gas to get to & from treatment, etc
We knew this would be quite the battle but didn’t expect it to be so expensive! The hope at the end of the 7 weeks is to be cancer free. If not, David will need another surgery & more chemo/immunotherapy. If you’ve read this far you deserve a medal! It’s a lot to take in. Please help in any way you can, even if it’s just by sharing this gofundme on your social media to get the word out that David really needs our help right now.
