Support Austin's Recovery Journey

Hello! My name is Colbie Johnson, wife of David Johnson, who has been a lifelong friend of Austin aka Johnting. Johnting and David have been best friends since grade school.

Johnting was in a motorcycle accident where he sustained several critical injuries on July 25th, 2025. We are grateful that Austin was wearing his helmet. Austin has already had 5 major surgeries with more to come. We are blessed to have the opportunity for him to be with us today, as he has made slow and steady progress in his recovery. This is just the beginning of his journey in his recovery, and he is still in the ICU and will eventually progress to 2 other stages in his hospital stay, then will be transferred to a rehabilitation facility. The timeline is unknown at this time; however, it will be several months before he gets home. When Austin came to, his first concern was how his adorable children were and have we had been with them.

Austin has always made his children his top priority. He enjoys coaching his son in football, basketball, and baseball. And being his daughter's number 1 cheerleader. Austin also missed big milestones in his children's lives, like the first day of school, Eli's first football game, while his daughter was cheering on her big brother. These have always been Austin's priority to be involved.

It is unknown when Austin will be able to return to work, as there are so many unknowns. It is hard for the family to ask for help; however, at this time, any little bit helps get Austin with miscellaneous medical expenses and to meet his children's needs.
