On August 14, a tragedy struck our family when my dad’s workshop, his livelihood and only source of income was completely destroyed in a sudden fire. Everything was lost in minutes: all his tools, equipment, and materials. There’s nothing left, and with no insurance to cover the loss, he now faces starting over from nothing.

This loss hits even harder knowing the battles he has already faced. Just a couple of years ago, my dad suffered a life-changing accident that left him with multiple surgeries, months of recovery, and the constant fight to regain his independence. He has worked tirelessly to get back on his feet, pushing through pain and challenges. His workshop was more than a job it was his way to provide for himself and his family with dignity.

Now, after all his efforts to rebuild his life, this fire has taken away everything again. We are heartbroken, but we know the kindness of others can help us take the first steps toward recovery.
