From NOWHERE to EVERYWHERE-Help fund my music journey and support survivors

As my new single "NOWHERE " hits the airwaves, I am embarking on a mission to create much-needed awareness about relationship toxicity which often leads to issues of domestic violence and sexual assault.

"NOWHERE" tells the story of internal struggle, one that countless people face when grappling with challenging relationships. I believe it is important for us to assess our situations and make choices that lead to our happiness and fulfillment.

Having once been in a physically and mentally abusive relationship myself, I understand all too well the need to shine a light on these issues.

My Journey

Once upon a time in the heart of Newark, New Jersey, a young boy named Jeremy Johnson came into the world. And, that little boy was me. It wouldn't be long before I discovered my true identity, one that would set me on a remarkable journey through the world of music. At six, I realized that rhythm and blues were not just genres of music but were embedded in my DNA.

My passion for music only deepened as I grew older. I enrolled at South Carolina State University, determined to refine my talents. It was there that I sharpened my meticulous attention to detail, thanks to my love for languages. In 1998, I proudly walked across the stage to receive my BA in Professional English with a Minor in Radio Broadcasting. My education provided the foundation for what would become a remarkable career.

Inspired by legends like the late James Brown, Prince, and Michael Jackson, as well as present-day powerhouses like Fantasia, Rihanna, and Beyoncé, J'Da Prynce, as I am recognized by my Royal family, friends, and fans would craft music that delved into the very depths of the human soul. The songs I write speak of healing, self-discovery, self-love, perseverance, and touching the “OPEN” hearts of all who listen.

In 2008, I independently released my debut album, "OPEN THE RELEASE: Ten Years in The Making." It was a labor of love and a testament to my dedication and the countless hours I poured into my craft. And, my journey is just beginning.

A year later, I relocated to Atlanta. It was in the vibrant music scene of Atlanta that my soulful sound and captivating performances began to turn heads. In 2012, opportunity smiled upon me when El-Live Productions discovered my talent. After a highly competitive audition, I became the lead singer for Xpress Band and Heat.

For the next three years, my life became a whirlwind of music and adventure. My bandmates and I toured tirelessly, entertaining audiences in exotic Asian cities like Beijing, Singapore, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Abu Dhabi, and Bangkok. Our performances were electrifying, and our dedication earned Spasso Club the prestigious Award for Best Live Entertainment Venue in Bangkok for two consecutive years, in 2014 and 2015, as recognized by Bangkok's Best Dining Magazine.

But even amidst the applause and adoration of fans from around the world, as well as the challenges that come with being an independent artist, I have remained true to my roots and values. I know the power of music to heal, inspire, and evoke change.

More About NOWHERE

At the time I wrote ‘NOWHERE,’ I was that person being torn to shreds at the hands of my former partner who abused me physically, mentally, and emotionally. While we often associate women with abuse, there are many men just like me, who experience trauma and hurt from abusive lovers. Whether it is due to the shame of admitting we are in an unhealthy situation or the fear of starting over, so many, like me often make the decision to stay in this position and go ‘nowhere.’

I independently released my blazing new single, ‘NOWHERE’ with Applaud You Talent Group, LLC., last week and so far, this song is already reverberating in some hearts all the way over in Nigeria. My desire is that this song will strike a chord deep within every human soul. From a young boy in Newark, New Jersey, to the international stage, I am a testament to the transformative power of music and the human spirit's capacity for resilience and compassion. With every note I sing and every word I pen, my goal is to continue to inspire and heal, leaving an indelible mark on the world.

My belief in the power of music to bring about change is unwavering, and I know that "NOWHERE" can serve as a medium to evoke reflection, trust in self, and celebration EVERYWHERE. With your help, I am committing to use the funds collected through his campaign for marketing and promotional purposes, aiming to reach as many people as possible. Ten percent of all funds raised will be donated to Stand Up Speak Out of North Carolina, a nonprofit organization founded by Durham native, Monica Daye that incorporates arts therapy to bring about healing to women and children who have either experienced or witnessed domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
