Help our Dad's Battle with ALS

This Go Fund Me page was setup for our friends & family that cannot attend our Dad's Fundraiser at American Tap in Addison, IL.  on Sunday 4/17/16 , but would like to make a donation.  Proceeds will be used towards his ongoing care.  

Our dad Ilija Ivkovic was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease, in June 2015. In January 2016 we moved him into a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit in a wheel chair accessible building and hired a full-time live-in care giver. His progression since the diagnosis has been rapid. He has lost the ability to use his right and left arms/hands. He is currently on the path of losing the ability to use both of his legs, and is  unable to walk on his own without assistance. We transport him in a wheelchair when we take him out on fun adventures. For the most part, he is in good spirits and has a great appetite! :-)

All proceeds will be used towards his ongoing care. Such as expenses not covered by his medical insurance, live-in care giver, custom motorized wheelchair and physical therapy to name a few.
