Hi, my name is Maday, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in saving my dog, Shadow, who has been my hero and a huge part of my life. He has given me so much love and even saved my mom’s life—now it’s my turn to help him.

Right now, Shadow is suffering from a severe ear infection that can only be fixed through surgery. I’ve tried countless remedies and treatments, but nothing has worked. The infection has become so painful that he can’t even tolerate haircuts or anyone touching his ears. It’s heartbreaking to see him struggle—his fur is matting, and the infection causes him constant discomfort and an unpleasant odor.

Shadow is so much more than just a dog to me. I call him my “grumpy old man” because he acts like he doesn’t want cuddles, but then sneaks over for pets and snuggles when he thinks I’m not paying attention. It’s one of the funniest and sweetest things about him, and it breaks my heart to see him in pain.

Lately, Shadow has been trying to cuddle up next to people, but the odor from his ear infection makes it hard for them to be around him. It’s heartbreaking to see him get sad and withdrawn, as people avoid him now because of the smell. It’s been tough on him, and I can see the toll it’s taking. All he wants is affection and to be close to those he loves, but he’s left feeling lonely and depressed.

The surgery Shadow needs will involve thoroughly cleaning and treating his infected ear canals, addressing any underlying damage, and preventing the infection from spreading further. After the surgery, he’ll need pain management, antibiotics, and follow-up appointments to ensure he heals properly. During his recovery, I’ll be doing everything I can to keep him comfortable, from creating a clean environment to making sure he gets the care he needs.

Shadow isn’t just a pet—he’s a lifesaver. A few years ago, a fire broke out in our home while my mom was asleep in her room. Shadow barked non-stop at her door, waking her up just in time. She had passed out from complications related to her diabetes, and if it weren’t for Shadow, I don’t want to imagine what could have happened. He saved her life, and now I need to save his.
