My name is Faith and my very good friend Mark Paolera was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Only 8,000 people a year are diagnosed with this rare type of Lymphoma. The good news is, that with chemotherapy and radiation therapy, Mark should kick this bad bug! Mark is an amazing guy, and for those of you that are fortunate like myself to get to know him, know exactly what I am talking about. He always helps others and now is the time to help him! Family is very important to him and helping him pay his bills will ease the stress on everyone right now. He currently owns his own business that he created 5 years ago from nothing. With his treaments and surgeries, he will not be able to fully commit to his business, which is his primary source of income currently. This is where "we" as a awesome support group come together to help Mark pay his monthly bills and copayments for his treatment. Currently Mark owes $6000.00 already in deducible and copayments in less that 2 weeks. He has to pay for temporary health insurance which is over $300.00 alone. So far he has gone through a CT scan, multiple blood tests, surgery to remove lymph nodes in his clavical area and send of for biopsies to confirm the diagnosis, ECG testing and lung function tests. The next phase of treatment is a PET scan, permanant chemo port and then chemo. The insurance company is now demanding the $6000.00 payment and that is not even including the actually chemotherapy that is starting soon. Anything will help and you will be rewarded with prayers and positive energy. Any donations over $200.00 will be rewarded with a necklace made with precious gemstones and sterling silver that you can personally pick out made by me :) I will be updating this page as soon as progress or changes have happen.
