Mom thought she had time. She was young, vibrant and full of life.None of us were prepared to have to say goodbye so suddenly and she wasn't prepared to go. When my mother passed we found, unfortunately, that she hadn't made plans or set into place anything that would help my brother and myself take care of her final costs. She thought she had time. We all did. The stress of it all and the crushing realization that it was all to fall on our shoulders has been crippling. We have gone through every outlet we can, but we have hit  a  brick wall. We cannot pay for the small, modest service that was in no way close to what my mother deserved.Under normal circumstances, my brother and I have entirely too much pride and tenacity to ever ask anyone for anything, but we cannot do this on our own. Anytime there is a tragedy such as this people always say " If there is anything you need, just let us know" , and up to this point I've not asked a single person for a single thing. But I am now. Those of you who knew my mother, know that she never asked for help or a handout. My brother and I both inherited that same quality so this is extremely difficult to ask. Please, anything you could do to help us take care of this tragic and unexpected burden would be so very greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much for any support you can lend.
