As many of you know, Steve had a massive stroke on Monday, 11/10/25. Paula found him on the bedroom floor and called the paramedics immediately. They arrived and confirmed that he had a stroke. They transported him to UCI, and he has been there for the last 11 days. His doctors confirmed that he had suffered a massive stroke. He had the stroke on the left side of his brain, which affects the right side of your body. Since Steve is right-hand dominant, he can’t do much of anything. He cannot speak, and his right side is paralyzed. This does not mean that he won’t restore movement on the right side. He is not able to talk, but he has been receiving physical therapy and has managed to mumble a few words.

As you know, Steve and Paula have always been generous people and would help any friend in need with no expectations. Now, Steve needs your help as this will be a very long process and will cost a lot of money. Insurance only goes so far, so we are reaching out for your help.
