Tax deductible
ENSCO, Inc.'s Applied Technology and Engineering (ATE) Division is raising money to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
The food bank’s primary emphasis continues to be on supplying food through its network of nonprofit partners.
After School Meals: The food bank’s after school meals program will continue at all site locations that plan to remain open at this time. The hot meal normally eaten on site has been replaced with a cold “to-go” meal that children can pick up and eat at home.
Senior Programs: The food bank will continue its monthly distribution of supplemental bagged/boxed shelf stable groceries through its Grocery Plus and My Groceries to Go locations (both part of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program) and Senior Brown Bag locations that are remaining open at this time.
Pop-Up Pantries: The food bank’s primary emphasis continues to be on supplying food through its network of nonprofit partners. However, in some areas where we are without a partner to help meet current need, the food bank is holding pop-up pantries in select locations. These pop-ups are for people without the funds to buy adequate food, and who would ordinarily seek help from a food pantry.
