My mom, Amanda, is only 38 years old and is currently fighting for her life after suffering from a devastating aortic dissection. On September 30, she underwent emergency surgery at Stanford University Hospital. Now, on October 1, she is facing another critical brain procedure.
The doctors are doing everything they can, but the outcomes are still uncertain due to the lack of oxygen and blood flow to her brain. This has been an incredibly heartbreaking and overwhelming time for our family.
We had to travel six hours from our hometown to be by her side at Stanford, and the costs of travel, lodging, food, and missed work are adding up quickly. More than anything, we want to be here with her, supporting her through every step of this battle.
Amanda is a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She has always been someone who puts others first, and now she needs our help.
If you’re able, please consider donating to help cover medical, travel, and living expenses during this difficult time. Every little bit helps us stay close to her and give her the support she desperately needs.
We also ask for your continued prayers and positive thoughts for Amanda’s recovery. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, generosity, and kindness.
