Hello my name is Charlie. I have been actively trying for the past 4 years to get top surgery. I have had to cancel my appointments twice because I have been unable to get the funds together in time. When the pandemic hit, I lost my job and had to dig into my personal savings for surgery while I searched for another job. Having to use that money that I have worked so hard for sent me into a major depressive episode that I still haven't been able to get out of. Getting surgery would completely revolutionize my life. My dysphoria impacts me every single day and makes even the simplest things feel impossible. And every year that goes by seems to get harder and harder to handle. 

With the help of my lovely friends and some wonderful strangers, I raised $750 last year (which has been set to the side and remains untouched). I am slowly but surely rebuilding my own savings as best as I can. But this mountain has been too high to climb on my own. Any amount helps and would mean the absolute world to me.
