Hello everybody my name is Angelina Cortez, wife of Benito Cortez. I write this with a very heavy heart.

Many knew of me and many didn’t I’ve been with Benny since I was a kid growing up. I’ve been his best friend 1 year before our 9 year marriage. It’s saddens me today that I have to create this... My husband Benito Cortez was murdered on Monday of September 18th at 3:30pm. Many who knew him, Knew him to be genuine, honorable, passionate, caring, hard working, energetically funny, A truly beautiful loving son,husband,uncle,nino and most of all brother!To his family and friends: Knew he loved to be with his loved ones. He was truly a very down to earth human being. We asked for help. To put him to rest and other arrangements.
