In the early hours of the morning, my best friend Roxanne experienced every parent’s worst nightmare. She awoke to find her home engulfed in flames. Alone with her three young children—all under the age of 3—she managed to get them out safely, thanks to nothing short of a miracle.
Multiple fire departments from across the county responded and worked tirelessly to contain the blaze. The home is now unlivable, and everything inside—clothing, baby gear, furniture, toys, food, and cherished personal belongings—has been lost to the smoke and fire.
Roxanne is a strong and devoted mother who now faces the enormous challenge of starting over with her three little ones and nowhere to go. She is currently displaced and urgently in need of support for:
Diapers for the children - size 6.
Clothing and essentials for herself and the kids - Reid is a size 3T, Rhett and Ruby are size 4T. Shoe sizes are 9-10. Roxanne is a size small in top and bottom.
Household items and furnishings for when she can move into a new place
Transportation costs and replacing lost documents
Emotional and mental health support as she recovers from this trauma
Every dollar raised will go directly to helping Roxanne and her children get back on their feet. No donation is too small—every bit makes a difference.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with anyone you know. Thank you for helping her and her family begin to rebuild after such a heartbreaking loss.
Let’s show her that she’s not alone.
