On June 5th, my partner lost his battle with Complex PTSD and took his own life at only 41 years of age. My family and I are beyond devastated and broken by the loss of such a phenomenal man.

Matt was not only the most intelligent man I had ever known, but one of the most compassionate. Matt spent a total of 14 years serving as a Paramedic for the city of Rochester, NY, until he chose to step away to focus on himself and his mental health. His battle was a long one, and though he is at peace now, all who love him have been left in ruins.

Matt was an amazing mentor and friend to not only my children, but so many others.

Matt was the head of household, financially, and his unexpected passing has placed a huge burden on our family. I am raising funds to assist us as we try to process and heal from this horrific tragedy. How I will "pick up the pieces" and help my children process and heal at the same time is going to be unimaginably difficult.
