A mothers cry for help

Hey friends, Reaching out for help has never been my strong suit, but I am at a breaking point. As many of you know, Alexander was in an accident earlier this year which has left him with a traumatic brain injury and wheelchair bound. Alexander is being forced out of his current facility. I am hoping to raise some funds to help him find a new place to stay until his SSI Disability determination has been made. He also will be losing his insurance at the end of this month due to the lag in processing the disability claim. Our family has been trying to help Alex as much as possible but with Adrian also having his life-threatening illnesses and hospitalizations this year, we are simply not able to cover anymore expenses.

I have been working diligently over the past 6 months to find the proper placement for him to rehab and get the best care and as many of you know we have hit A LOT of detours and roadblocks along the way. Wading through and being patient for benefits to kick in has proven to be a HUGE challenge. I do see some light at the end of the tunnel, but it is still dim due to the paperwork backlog.

He needs help with funds for his housing, as well as to cover insurance while he is without benefits because he still has dr appts to attend and supplies that are needed.
