Help Rebuild Lives After Devastating Fire

As the saying goes, "Life can change in an instant, turning our world upside down."

On Thursday (9/26/24) at approximately 5:30 AM, a good friend/colleague/classmate of mine received a call stating, "...there is a fire at your dad’s house…" Amid the news she received, knowing her father, brother, and beloved pets were inside, she rushed to her childhood home following the visible smoke and flames seen from the highway. Upon her arrival, her father and brother luckily made it out…with nothing else.

As the picture shows, this is a total loss, including their beloved fur-babies: their beautiful husky and 5 cats. This horrific and devastating situation is almost impossible for anyone to wrap their heads around. Her brother is on disability and dad is an 83 y/o Veteran on Social Security. As they navigate their way to start completely over, and while managing the emotional toll, I am reaching out to anyone who can, and is willing to help ease the burden in any way such as money, a helping hand, well wishes, prayers and/or any other essential item(s). My heart absolutely breaks for everyone involved including the loss of their fur babies' lives.
