Help for the Lemus Family

Hi, my name is Mary. I met Laura Lemus about 10 years ago, as we both started studying the Bible around the same time. We were both working on making BIG changes in our lives. We not only had that in common but we were also in our 20s and we were already young mothers.
If you know what it’s like to be a mom than you know it’s a life full of self sacrificing work. Every morning you wake up to give of yourself so every night you go to sleep totally spent just to wake up and do it all over again.
In this day and age to be a parent so young means you’re pretty much living paycheck to paycheck off a whole lot of prayers and trust in God.
Laura is self employed and is married to her husband, Esteban. They they have a 16 year old son, Junior. Out of all the people I’ve met in the past 10 years, Laura has always stood out to me as an incredibly hard worker. She has wanted nothing more than to provide her son with the stability that she didn’t have growing up. While her husband maintained a steady job she has tried different jobs and business ideas from dental assistance, day care, house cleaning and selling home made soap and deodorant!
I remember the day she asked me if my family would be able to help her out by having her take our photos so she could start a portfolio for her newest business adventure, photography by L. Rose which by the way has grown so much since that day about 9 years ago..
On the morning of May 27th 2022
Laura was a hard working woman who had built a successful photography business literally from ground up and due to the increase in pandemic babies it had been thriving! However… today, Laura is at home unable to work because on The afternoon of May 27th 2022 she got home and suddenly without notice she felt an incredible pain in her lower back and was unable to walk. She was home alone at this time since her husband and son took a side job out of town to earn a little extra money since business expenses were piling up
and Esteban had recently decided to decrease his days at work to help Laura out with the business and be home more for their son.
Can you imagine how scared she must have felt to suddenly be paralyzed, in pain, and all alone ?
Her husband had to drive 4 hours back home to get to her asap at which this time her hands were totally numb, when he took her to the hospital they told her she would need surgery to remove part of her vertebrae and her L3 & L4 Lumbar disc were ruptured.
Laura is only 34 years old..
This is her story.
I know not everyone will be moved to help, and even those who are moved may not be in position to help.. and that is understandable but please keep Laura and her family in your prayers because we can all imagine the financial stress this can cause a family but imagine the spiritual stress and especially for this family that has been trying so hard and this year has been so incredibly difficult on them already.
I’m not asking for the kindness of strangers I’m asking for the kindness of brothers and sisters..
Right now with Esteban being the only source of income working 3 days a week
This family needs help
They have housing rent, photography studio rent, car payments, hospital bills, and the list go on.. please don’t think even a small donation like $5 won’t help, anything helps. And your help doesn’t have to come in the form of monitory either, if you can prepare a meal or offer some other kind of assistance anything you can think of I’m sure will be sufficient.
I’ll continue to update her progress with you all and thanks for taking the time to read this far if you did. May love continue to reside in your hearts and be the motivation force behind all your prayers and help.
