The Original Golfers are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Chief Warrant Officer (CW4) Retired Travis Rodgers and family.
Until Travis’s injury, he was active in numerous charitable organizations including Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc of which Both Travis and son Branford are active members.
Prior to his injury Travis was also an avid golfer and a longtime member of “The Original Golfers” a group of retired veterans who meet around the country to play golf and support local charities.
The Rogers’ family needs your help to fulfill his dream for his daughter this fall. We ask your donations of support for this great military family while he fights to recover from this debilitating TBI.

It is with a heavy heart, we report that Candace was lost it a tragic car accident on June 19th, 2021. The Rogers Family has lost its anchor.
As many of you know, Travis and Candance were married for over 30 years and along with Branford and Taylor have been the quintessential Army Family serving the world over.
Your support helped Taylor have great start in college and your continued support will help keep both Travis’s and Candace’s dream alive.
Travis is still battling to recover from a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) incurred in April 2019 and remains in a coma. Doctors’ forecast extensive rehabilitative care for his foreseeable future. Travis’ injury has significantly impacted his ability to support his family and growing expenses associated with long term care; most importantly his dream and promise to send his youngest Taylor to college.
Travis retired after four combat tours to Afghanistan, Iraq and Bosnia as an Army Intelligence Officer. Over his 20 years of service Travis’s exceptional leadership earned him two of our Nation’s highest honors – (2) Bronze Star Medals and the Legion of Merit Medal. After his retirement from the Army, Travis also continued to serve as a Senior Intelligence Office
