Dave Harris’ Benefit Dinner
On June 17th, Dave fell outside at home, and hit his head on the cement. As a result, he suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. Since the accident, it has been a roller coaster ride causing Dave to be in and out of the ICU and Madonna. A recent infection has caused irreversible brain damage. Therefore, he is going on hospice.
For those of you who do not know Dave, he has been married to Sheri for 32 years and they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. In addition, he has a large extended family and countless friends. He loves spending time with his grandkids, especially attending their sporting events. He also enjoys telling corny jokes and anything Creighton Blue Jays.
Since the accident, Sheri has not been able to work so she can be his caretaker. She is now his 24 hour hospice caregiver. We do not know the total amount of medical bills, but Sheri is already receiving them from the first few weeks.
Please join Dave’s family and friends for a night to help assist with medical expenses. The night will feature food, drinks, a silent auction of numerous prizes, and of course fun and laughter amongst Dave’s friends and family.
