My brother and I are currently homeless. We are trying to stay out of the streets while my disability claim goes through. I've worked off and on since my 14th year, some 50 years ago. Well, now I have become too disabled to continue working. I'm being told I can go pound sand because I never made a million dollars. Well, now I need to keep me and my equally disabled brother out of the streets. The last time we were living out of my car, both of us sequentially wound up in the hospital. My brother was about 10 minutes from heart failure. I had a fall and suffered a major laceration of my right leg, which took me almost an entire year to heal from, due to my diabetes.
