This is Biggie… Biggie has had a really rough start at life. He first was dumped and then attack attacked by another animal and also was found very very sick with worms and parasites. The community raised funds for him to receive medical attention and through his treatment, and unfortunately, an amputation he has continued to pull through! But now we have found ourselves at another unfortunate situation. He has Parvo K9-Kids wants to be completely transparent to where we are at with funds as well as our options. We have already paid $1800 in donations to his vet care and paid $467 today to his brothers vet bill and still have about $300-$350 more to completely pay off his brothers bill. Today we spent $150 in X-rays and medications as well as $100 in the Parvo tests so we now still have an outstanding balance of $500+. There are a couple options for Parvo treatments. The more expensive but greater chance at surviving treatment is $500 per injection plus medications, IVs, hospital stay etc. We are looking at $1000-$1500 plus the money we already owe. I’m bringing this to the community because we have already spent over $2000 for him, and before we make the decision to humanely euthanize him, we wanted to be transparent with our community and see if people would donate towards his case.
