Help Jessica Fight Breast Cancer
If you know Jessica Biszmaier, then you already know the kind of person she is: strong, kind, loyal, and someone who would give everything she had to help someone else. She's been a part of the Jeffersonville and Louisville community her whole life—whether you grew up with her, are part of her extended family, or know her from being served with a smile at Cast Iron Steak House, where she’s worked for the past 11 years.
Now Jessica needs us.
At just 34 years old, Jessica was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She’ll be undergoing surgery within the next month, followed by chemotherapy and radiation. She is a single mom raising her daughter and caring for her nephews. And while she's working every hour she can before treatment starts, the reality is—she won't be able to work during what’s ahead.
That means facing the overwhelming burden of not only keeping up with day-to-day essentials like rent, groceries, and utilities, but also the medical expenses that come with surgery, chemo, prescriptions, and recovery. She has always carried that weight without complaint. But no one should have to fight cancer and fight to stay afloat.
We’re asking for your help—whatever you can give—to help Jessica focus on healing and being there for her family without the crushing stress of unpaid bills.
If you’ve ever crossed paths with Jessica, you know she’s the kind of person you don’t forget. Let’s show her how much she’s loved.
You can also donate directly via Venmo at @Jessica-Biszmaier, and in the coming days, we’ll be organizing ways to help like a meal train and an Amazon wish list.
Thank you for helping us carry her through this.
