Happy Holidays, Everyone!

This is our father, Randy Umagat. Anyone who has ever met this man, knows how hardworking he is to provide for his family, our family. This passed year has been very stressful for our family and because of it, we may lose the man that taught us EVERYTHING in our lives.

Yesterday while at work, I found my father lying on the floor, face down in a puddle of water caused from a massive stroke. The doctors found a blood clot residing on one of the main arteries that provides oxygen to the brain. Due to the location of the blood clot, they are unable to operate without it being fatal. Currently, he is on life support to help produce and pump oxygen to his brain. The right side of his body is functioning with more strength than his left side. He is able to hear us talk to him. He communicates with us by squeezing our hands, raising his eyebrows, and for all shits and giggles.. sigh when told more family is coming to see him. He is and always will be our father, a grandfather, a son, a husband, a friend and so much more to others who’s lives he has touched. All we are hoping for is more memories with him. You never know when it could be the last time with someone you love.. and it’s not our dad’s time yet. This is the only thing we want is for our dad to wake up and to have a healthy recovery for a happy new year of the many more memories that await our family.
