Hello, my name is Shon Peterson. I am 2 years old and I live in Charlotte North Carolina with my parents Lorenzo and Melita Peterson and 3 brothers. I was hospitalized 3 times last year due to several chronic symptoms that doctors could not explain or fully treat. I experienced kidney failure, liver failure, a collapsed lung, bacterial infection in my bloodstream, skin infections, itchy skin, edema, multiple allergies, hair loss with an elevated IGE of over 4000 and I could go on. They tried everything that they could. By the third hospitalization, the doctors said they have maxed out on their medicines for me and there was nothing else they could do. With much prayer, support and diligence my parents did not give up on me. Because of my mom's 10 years of studying and researching on nutrition, disease and natural remedies; They sought out highly trained integrative health pediatricians, naturopathics, holistic doctors, herbalists, acuppressure, acupuncturists, chiropractic, whole food nutritionists, and more. Because of their help, I am recovering. I have been out of the hospital for a year and a half and I am off of all 21 pharmaceutical medicines. My IGE level has decreased from 4,000 to 1,000 . I am regulating my own temperature now and I haven't had any more major infections. My protien allergy has improved. My ng tube was removed after a couple of months. I am no longer aspirating. Unfortunately, there is no insurance support for these types of services. The funds raised will go toward supplements and continued services as listed above. We will donate a percentage of the proceeds to Crisis Assistance Ministries in Charlotte NC.
