For Jill!!
This campaign is for my client Jillian DiBlasi, who I have known and trained for the past 8 years. Jill is unaware this campaign was started for her and she would probably be totally against it.
Jill is a 25 years old, Stockton Graduate, who went on to attend nursing school at Thomas Jefferson University. Jill recently graduated from nursing school and started her career at Thomas Jefferson Hospital.
Jill is a very strong, intelligent, determined, hardworking, and active young woman. Jill excelled in soccer, playing for Hammonton High School where she was named The Press Girls Soccer Player of the Year , her senior year. In that same year she also scored a record setting 25 goals , which helped lead her team to win the schools first ever Atlantic League Championship. Jill went on to play collegiate soccer at Stockton University and Temple University.
Even with her busy schedule, Jill ALWAYS found time to make it into the gym to train. She always showed true dedication no matter what she was facing.
Jill is also an avid snowboarder and is very good at it. Jill is always smiling and is a joy to be around. For those of you who know Jill, you can attest to this!
Unfortunately Jill's life was forever changed on the evening of
Friday May 22nd, when she was in a horrific ATV accident, with
life changing injuries. Jill seriously injured her left leg, which required amputation above her knee. Subsequently she broke her left wrist which also required surgery with plates and rods. And to make matters worse, due to the corona virus, Jill hasn't been able to have her family by her side while she's in the hospital recovering from her injuries.
When I first heard the news, my first instinct was to research prosthetics for athletes . I quickly discovered even with insurance the cost can be astronomical and ongoing for the rest of her life. Jill has a battle ahead of her and finances should be the least of her worries.
I ask at this time that you please donate anything you can to help
cover the cost of her medical expenses and future expenses for
prosthetics. Any amount helps no, donation is too small. If you are
unable to donate, please pray for Jill and her family to help
get them through this terrible time.
Jill's life has been forever changed but with your help it will be normal again. Through these Corona times I started using the slogan "The comeback will be greater than the set back" and this fits perfectly for Jill's situation. I have NO DOUBT Jill will make a remarkable come back from all of this!
