Jody's journey started at the end of August 2019. It all happened very quickly. On October 8th she had surgery and shortly after Jody was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer.
On November 20th, she had her port put in and the day after had her 1st chemotherapy transfusion. 3 weeks later on December 12th, she received her 2nd transfusion. This will continue every 3 weeks until March 2020. She has been receiving treatment in Auburn, CA.
Jody has been recovering in Grass Valley with her husband and family. Unfortunately, she has not been able to continue working. Being self employed she cannot collect disability, this creates a huge financial stress. As you can imagine, this has already been very difficult on her.
Jody is the most amazing beautiful person! I know that she has so many people in her life that love her. People have asked me how they can help. So, I've started this page to rally all of us together, to help her along this journey. We can help ease the financial stress that comes along with this difficult treatment and recovery period, while she physically cannot work. These donations will be used for Jody to continue paying her health insurance, monthly bills and space rent for her business.
