Bobbie Best- "10 years ago this month we were here at U.W. fighting for my daughter Heather Best's life. As you know we lost her fight on August 18th 2011, putting us at 10 years without her. Now we are here once again fighting for Kelsie's. If you are unfamiliar, Heather and Kelsie were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis each at a very young age. Kelsie is now in respiratory and liver failure. Today after meeting with doctors we were informed that if she makes it through this, it will be a very long time before she will be able to return home. So now we are here, once again, reaching out to our community, family, and friends to help me afford to stay here in Seattle, out of work, by her side. Kelsie has 3 beautiful babies at home in Wenatchee so please pray that she will be able to return to them soon."
