Support Gail's Journey to Recovery

Dear Family and Friends,

On September 3rd, 2024, my sister-in-law, Gail, was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive at home with a dangerously high fever of 105°F. She was battling severe complications from pneumonia, sepsis, and staph infections. Despite the medical team’s best efforts, they were unable to pinpoint the cause of these life-threatening conditions, and Gail's health rapidly worsened.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, her family had to make the difficult decision to place her on life support, as she could no longer breathe or function on her own. After days filled with uncertainty, Gail has thankfully come off the ventilator, but she faces a long and difficult road to recovery, which includes weeks of oxygen therapy and intensive rehabilitation.

While we are beyond grateful that Gail is making progress, the reality of the situation has placed an immense financial strain on her family. Gail has been unable to work for an extended period, and the costs of her medical care continue to mount—hospital bills, rehab expenses, and the ongoing cost of medical insurance are overwhelming. Without an income, these financial burdens are becoming too much for her family to bear alone.
