Get Our Kids Out of the Basement

Desperate to end the cycle and give their kids a solid education, parents in this remote First Nations community, started an alternative education program. The school is filled to capacity with 27 students but there is an ongoing wait list of 100 children anxiously waiting to get in.
Parents built everything with their own hands, even the desks. They pay $4200 in tuition and tuitions are 100% paid up to date. That, along with annual donations of 100k, it's enough to pay the basics.
However, after 12 years and moving from condemned buildings to the damp, cold basement of a post office, it is time to build! We can put up a pre-fab building for the cost of $400,000. We need to get the kids of the basement and into a decent learning environment.
$400k will not only get the kids out of the basement, it will allow us to double the intake of students, giving more children this amazing opportunity. When the funds are there, volunteers will come to erect the building and prepare it for the children.
We are demonstrating to our children that they can do whatever they set their minds to, that nothing is impossible. This is a worthy cause, that will affect many lives and the future of our community. Thank you in advance for partnering with us. Your gift will make a huge difference.
