We are asking for the recommended minimum for a down payment and closing costs on an affordable living arrangement for us and two friends.
The Summary:
- My boyfriend and I have outgrown our one room living situation
- We're looking to buy as we've got too many rescue pets to rent anywhere
- We have 2 very close friends who are trans that we are trying desperately to get out of their unsafe living situations
- We're working hard to save as much as possible for a down payment of our own, but any amount we get helps
Why should you help?
We're hoping that you'd like to help because you either care about us and the safely of ourselves and our close friends, or that you want to support the idea of a few low income people coming together to make the best out of their circumstances.

-Hi! Our name's are Tracy and Josh, and we're both huge nerds and animal lovers!
We currently live with my grandparents, in one room with all of our beloved little furry friends. Our furry family grew far quicker than we anticipated with rescues and we're hoping to get them some more room to run and play.
Josh works constantly out of the house, while I work at home. My business is slowly getting bigger and bigger and with that the space I have to work is getting smaller and smaller. It would mean the world to me to be able to have my own little area to work and not be in anyone's way.
We have most of the means to really help out two of our friends and make an opportunity and a living here in Mississippi.
-Hi! My name is Evan- I'm a transman who loves art, cooking, baking, and hope to own a bakery one day!
I currently live with my aunt and her family, but I'm expected to move out soon after I graduate in 2021. I can't afford to live on my own, and my only other option is to move back in with my physically abusive, transphobic, and homophobic mother. I'm trying to save up as much as I can, but unfortunately my current wages are not enough, and I'm unable to get another job.
In order to begin transitioning, and have a safe, supportive environment to do so, I need the funds to be able to move in with my friends.
-Hello, my name's Bio! I'm a 20 yr old transman trying to get his wildlife rehabilitation license, while also attempting to build a career in freelance graphic design.
I'm currently living with my divorced parents, switching between houses every other week. I cant afford to live on my own, due to me stuck in a minimum wage job with no real future where I live. Being unable to move out, I'm forced to live with my abusive, transphobic, homophobic, racist, and extremely religious family. I have no future where I live and things have escalated more and more the last few years with my family. Getting to the point where my family is shaming me for my panic attacks, self harming, PTSD, n' severe memory loss caused from the sheer amount of stress I'm under. Refusing to let me seek medical treatment, refusing to let me go to a therapist, even cutting off any sort of connections outside of family to make me completely reliant upon them.
I have a massive opportunity before me, however I need financial assistance to move out of my current situation and in with my friends. Not only escaping my family's grasp, but also being able to seek the medical help that I need. Securing a future for myself that, for the first time in my life, I am looking forward to.
Please help us secure a safe and loving home. <3
