Living Expenses while out of work.

As most of you know Quiesha is a very hush hush person when it comes to her personal life. Quiesha is well known in our little Lake Wales community and loved by everyone who knows her. Quiesha recently was hospitalized for 9 days. There were many many missed days from work before her hospitalization resulting in her using all of her vacation time she had gained. Back in April Quiesha was in more pain than she could handle so she decided to go to Lake Wales Medical Center where the Doctor told her she was having a Molar Pregnancy. She struggled to go to work and some days were harder and painful than others. Calling in and using sick days were her only option. On Saturday, May 31st she couldnt handle the headache she had been dealing with for weeks so she went to Winter Haven Hospital where the doctor there told her that her hemoglobin level was a 4.4 and normal range is 12.6-15.2. She was admitted and underwent a blood transfusion immediately where we all hoped things would get better for our dear friend but it only got much worse. Her body didn't like the idea of recieving blood. Her body went into shock. Her blood pressure sky rocketed. Her bacteria levels were high and to make matters much worse her kidneys were shutting down due to lack of blood flow. The doctors put Quiesha In ICU. She underwent a kidney Biopsy. They even discussed the possibility of dialisis and being put on the kidney transplant list. Things were not looking good at all. Quiesha was sent home on Monday, June 9th. The doctors are still waiting on her Biopsy results. Just when she thought things couldn't get any worse they did!! She dropped her prescriptions off and waited for them to be filled. They call her name and she swipes her card to pay... Decline. This can't be. She has been in the hospital. All along the while someone has stole her card info and went on a shopping spree. She does get her meds thanks to her dad and heads straight for the bank to take care of her account. Quiesha is a single mother who struggled for years and never asked for any help. She always did what she had to do for her and her son Jay. I know this community can come together and show our love and support in this difficult time Quiesha and Jay are facing.
