Support Rick's Fight Against Cancer

Hi my name is Andy fernandez and I’m making this for my Dad/ coach Rick.my dad has been diagnosed with metastatic sqamous cell carninoma.and we found out because he was growing a huge mass on his neck.he didn’t wanna tell anyone but now realizes what a battle this is gonna be and he knows he needs suppport to get through it.right after the diagnosis he had to go to the dentist and get all his teeth removed and instantly had to quit smoking and drinking which he’s been doing my whole life and could only eat mushed up food.eventually had a surgery on his neck to find the origin of cancer and now his throat is in a lot of pain and it’s hard for him to eat.later realized it wasn’t from the surgery it’s from the mass.now not being able to use the things that’s soothed him he’s having a lot of panic and anxiety and disorientation.but our reason for making this is his treatments are in Miami and it’s 8 weeks of chemo and radiation,where we’ll have to stay in hotels and he wants to stay in the hotel next to the hospital so it’s easier to do the treatments and he’s freaking out about losing his house cause the money situation.we’re just trying to get him to relax so he has the best chance of overcoming this tough battle.any support helps throughout this 8 weeks like i said our main goal is getting him to quit stressing and panicking so all love and we appreciate anything anyone can do to support.even if it’s messaging him or giving him a call or stopping in to the hotel to see him or money we appreciate it all.
