Hi, my name is Mick Wakefield and I am putting this fundraiser out for Jamie and Catie Davis and their children.

Three weeks ago Jamie flew from California to Iowa to speak at 2 youth camps. Jamie shared the gospel, led worship, spoke into the lives of so many young people and saw God do some amazing works.

During Jamies 2nd week at camp he began to feel fatigued and feverish so he went to get tested for Covid19.

Then came the terrible news. The test came back positive.

This meant that Jamie would not be able to return home to his wife Catie and their 3 children.

Alone, afraid and very run down, Jamie has been fighting the symptoms with medication only to find that he had an allergy to something he was taking.

Jamie began breaking out in hives and swelling bagged in his mouth. This made it very difficult to keep on top of the Covid19 symptoms.

Now 1 week after he was originally meant to come home he has been admitted to hospital due to low oxygen levels. Tomorrow morning Catie will fly out to be with Jamie.

I first of all would like to ask you to pray for the Davis family.

• for Jamie, pray for complete healing and restoration in his body. Pray for peace throughout this very threatening time and pray that he is well enough to fly back to his family soon.
• for Catie and the kids. Pray for peace for them as they navigate all of this so far from Jamie. Pray for protection and provision for them. Pray that they not be overcome with worry and pray for an abundance of faith in knowing that God will bring their Dad and Husband home safe.

Secondly, I'd like to ask that you join me in supporting them financially.

As you can imagine with cancelled flights, multiple hospital visits and medication, Jamie having to stay in Iowa longer than expected (food, lodging, etc) and now Catie having to fly out there too the financial burden is mounting up. While they are dealing with all the other stuff and trying to get Jamie well again I believe we as a community can lift that financial burden from them.

I set the goal at $1500 but I would guess that this will just about scratch the surface so please give whatever you can even if the goal gets met.
