Hi, My name is Katie, and I am creating this for one of the most selfless humans I have ever known. Tracy and my dad were married for many years of my childhood before ultimately going their own ways. However, they always remained friends and spoke often.

Nearly 12 years later, my dad's health and personal life were declining, and he asked if he could stay with her. She took him in and supported him while also being his daily caregiver. During the next ten years, they rebuilt a new life together. However, as his health worsened, she was forced to quit her job to take care of him full time.

While doing this, she ran out of financial options, which led to her having to use all of her savings and sell things of personal value to keep things in motion.

My dad passed away in November of 2021, and since then, she has been not only extraordinarily depressed but also fighting crippling anxiety that prevents her from returning to work. In addition, he left her with nothing. He did not have life insurance and had nothing in his bank account.

While she is activally trying to find employment, she is behind in her bills. In addition, her home needs significant repairs, her car is very near being repossessed, and she is struggling to keep herself and her pets fed.

While taking care of my dad she also very recently lost an aunt that was like a mother to her and a brother unexpectedly. When our family came into town to spend our last days with our dad, she opened her home and did everything in her power to ensure we were comfortable, welcomed, and fed... although she didn't have the means.

Tracy truly has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone without hesitation. I would love to be able to remove the burden of just trying to survive even slightly for her. By contributing, you would allow her the financial freedom to resume going to work without the dark cloud of debt and precarity. My hopes are that we can get her to a place where she can afford the medication needed to function daily and be able to go to work to pay future bills instead of being in the crisis of constantly trying to play catch up.
