Support Joel's Family in Their Time of Loss

God called this young man Joel Geovani Sangster home yesterday. Joel also known as “JJ” was involved in a horrific car accident a few days ago. He passed on Saturday December 28th. Despite the efforts of the doctors in Jamaica, who tried to save his life, they were unsuccessful as the injuries he sustained during the accident was beyond their control. Joel was working doing deliveries on a motorcycle when he was struck by a minibus. The driver of that minibus has said to have fallen asleep behind the wheel. At the time of the accident Joel was out trying to make some extra money for the holidays to provide for his son. Joel leaves behind a 9 month old son, along with his mother and two sisters.

At this time his mother Kim is heavily in distress due to the loss of her son, along with financial restraint, as the money so desperately needed at this time is not available for his burial. In addition to his burial Kim also has to hire a lawyer to represent her son who is now unable to tell his side of the story on what truly happened on that fatal night, as the driver of the minibus is set to walk free if she does not have the proper representation to get justice for his death. Not to mention this happened right in the midst of our holiday season. For this reason I am reaching out to my family and friends or anyone who identifies with Joel’s story to ask for help to raise the money for JJ burial and to bring justice. Please help.

Kim is a single mom who migrated to the US just a few months ago in an attempt to make a better life for herself and children. However, she has not been able to find steady work. As we all know death or life altering experiences does not come with a calling card or a warning. Least to say the money is not there to pay for Joel’s burial. Any thing that anyone gives at this time would be greatly appreciated and a blessing to this family.
