Help Sedona Walk Again
Tara is on the frontline as an Emergency Room EMT keeping each of us in the fight against Covid and in all the medical emergencies we and our loved ones face. She needs your help to raise the funds to save her 3 year old Berner, but it's not just about that.....
Sedona, her 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog is her rock, helping her find the courage to overcome the fear, anxiety, isolation and loss in the role she has chosen. A common sight around Missoula, "Doni" provides the comfort and relief that few can during these times when a frontline worker frequently has to isolate.
Sadly, on Valentine’s Day Doni suddenly collapsed, appearing paralyzed in both rear and one front leg. Concerned she may have had a stroke, Tara rushed Sedona to an Emergency Veterinarian but to save Sedona she had to immediately find the Neurology Services Missoula lacks. With the same resolve she brings to the ER, Tara drove for more than 4 hours through the night, arriving in Pullman, Washington at 3 A.M.
The neurologist believes that Sedona had a stroke, but can regain the use of her limbs with intensive physical therapy, requiring expensive diagnostic scans and rehabilitation services and she will stay in the hospital for some time.
To get by as an EMT at minimum wage, Tara takes on multiple frontline jobs at the Hospital. The reality is that Tara needs your help to save Sedona, and she needs it right now. Please help keep Tara in the fight by donating to Sedona's recovery. Show your support now with whatever you can, and thank you.
