Our hearts go out to Lanetta Michaux who unexpectedly lost her daughter, Rene Michaux, on Tuesday, November 3rd. She passed away due to organ failure. It is no doubt a terrible loss and we share in Lanetta's sadness.
Rene was the nucleus of the thriving mother-daughter business. Rene was the Director of Effective Communications Teach for Success. She's established relationships with public, private, and nonprofit sectors to develop educational and professional development curricula. It came as a shock to everyone in her professional network because she completed a workshop series a few days earlier.
Lanetta is proud of her two daughters' achievements and how they supported the Bronx community. Rene was born on June 10, 1982. She was involved in early childhood and school age youth programs since 2004 as a classroom educator, youth mentor, and tutor. She received a B.A in Psychology in 2004 and has been involved in activities that have assisted her educational growth and development.
In the midst of a pandemic, it is difficult to plan a memorial service. We have started a fund for Lanetta. Any monetary support will help alleviate some of the financial hardship.
