Hey ! My name is Tasha . My husband Jason was in a single car accident on December 7th, 2024. Our lives were forever changed that day. We were celebrating the upcoming birth of our grandson that morning and by 10 that night we were praying that Jason would make it through the night.

The doctors said he was not going to make it out of the hospital and if he did he would never be able to walk again. But my God showed them that he was going to live and I know he is going to walk again one day.

Jason had 5 broken vertebraes, 3 infarcts in the brain, spinal cord injury from c2 to t1 , and a cut from the back of his head through his right eye. Which they said he would never see out of . But God! He can see it’s blurry but he can see.

He spent a month and 10 days in the ICU. Then 5 months in the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. He was able to come home exactly 6 months after the accident.

Anyone that knows Jason knows he’s always the one to help and doesn’t like to ask for it. So this is not what we want to do but it’s worth a try. Would like to get some exercise equipment for the house to help him stay motivated. Thankfully my insurance paid a lot of the bills but there is still some it didn’t.
