For somebody who always got something to say... I'm at a loss for words. I met this beautiful soul when I was 18yrs and I never let go. Derrick touched the lives of many people and definitely left his mark on this world. From Coach D, to daddy to hubby. To know him was to love him, you just couldn't help it and I've loved this man since the day I met him for the last 27yrs. He gave me 3 beautiful children and was the best dad and husband we could have asked for. He would give you his last. Unfortunately he was taken from us to soon and we're all still tryna wrap our heads around it all. I've had so many people call, text, Facebook, etc. and a lot are asking to help. I'm still trying to figure it all out, but was so unprepared for all this. If you would like to donate towards his funeral services, we appreciate any and all. I just want to give him the burial he deserves. I appreciate and love you all.
