Unfortunately my son Brenttyn or as many of you know him as “B” was recently diagnosed with Leukemia which is a cancer that attacks his blood cells. Since day 1 he was immediately put on a ventilator and because of his weakened immune system he caught an infection. If things couldn’t have gotten any worse he ended up having a negative reaction to some of the antibiotics and now has a rare disorder called “Steven Johnson’s Syndrome” and has been battling every day. We are now going on 3 weeks in the PICU and at this point have no idea how much longer we will be staying. We know we have a tough road ahead and any funds received will be going towards Bs medical expenses and accommodations for him.
