As a competitor, coach and teammate Stephanie Lim always gives that little extra – which is why she has earned a spot on the National Wushu team for the fourth time! She will represent the United States at the 2019 World Wushu Championships in Shanghai, China in October. Without fail, Stephanie goes the extra mile in all things. Whether it’s staying late to work with her students, brainstorming in the middle of the night to come up with better ways to help her teammates and those she teaches, and of course her own personal practice time. Now she needs your help to take the next steps in the coming weeks toward her goal of medaling at Worlds!
Every dollar counts
As a U.S team athlete Stephanie receives zero funding from the Federation. All costs for the trip to Shanghai (registration, weapon shipment etc) as well as rental space for her practices all come from her own funds. With 10 weeks left until Shanghai, she appreciates any and all support, which will enable her to focus 100% on training, so she can kick butt at Worlds! JIAYO!!!
