In Loving Memory of Vang Thor

We are saddened by the loss of our father, Vang Neng Thor, who passed away on May 2, 2021 from health complications.
Vang was born on May 5, 1945 in Laos. As a young man, Vang fought with the U.S. in the Vietnam War. In 1979, after the US finally withdrew from the area, Vang fled Laos with his wife and four children and settled in the U.S. as refugees. With nothing but hard work and determination, Vang was able to learn English and found a career in plastics molding. Eventually, Vang settled in Fitchburg, MA where he raised a total of 6 children. Above all else, family and God were the most important in life for Vang. He helped to establish the Hmong Christian Fellowship, which is part of the Christian Missionary Alliance, where he remained an active member. His passing brings great sadness to all those who knew and loved him.
