We are a family 5, my mum, me and my 3 siblings we are all adopted myself and my siblings all have leaning disabilities

My dad passed away 10 years ago due to prostate cancer and ever since he has passed away my mum has had to take on the huge responsibility of looking after us all on her own our life is full of hospital appointments and hospital admissions because my little brother has very complex needs and needs constant care and this includes emergency admissions to hospital which my mum never leaves his side she has spend hours and hours in hospitals with my little brother.

On Saturday 8th November 2025 at 11pm our power suddenly cut off! We ended up having to call the emergency electrician as my little brother has to have ventilation, suction and he is on a 24hr feed so knowing we have no electricity to run these important equipment gives me and my mum a real worry.

We manged to get power part of the house to run a exstention cable to use his medical equipment but it wasn't until the next morning we realised we didnt have power for his hoisting or his lift to take him downstairs. The electrician came back on Monday 10th November to tell us thwt the whole house will need rewiring because of its age and the amount of faults within our home.

The cost of this to be done is £18,000

If anyone can give my mum the support she needs to get our house back up and running would be amazing!
