Selma is a devoted daughter, a loving wife, and a brand-new mom to her beautiful four-month-old baby girl, Cleo. At just 37 years old, Selma has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her lungs, liver and bones. Doctors have given her a life expectancy of two to three years — news that has turned her world, and her family’s world, completely upside down.

Becoming a mom has been the greatest joy of Selma’s life. She was just beginning this new chapter — full of love, plans, and possibility — and everything changed overnight.

If you know Selma, you know she is pure light. She is warm, joyful, and endlessly kind — the kind of person who walks into a room and instantly makes it brighter. She gives without hesitation, loves without limits, and shows up for others in a way that leaves a lasting impression.

She’s the biggest Christmas lover, the undisputed Queen of Halloween, and the friend who turns ordinary moments into unforgettable celebrations. Time with Selma always feels special. She has a way of bringing people together and leaving them happier than when they arrived — with a smile on their face and a full heart.

Now, Selma is facing the fight of her life.

She is undergoing intensive chemotherapy while navigating the physical and emotional weight of this diagnosis, all while caring for her family. The severity of her illness and the demands of treatment have made it impossible for Selma to continue working. Meanwhile, medical bills and everyday expenses continue to grow.

We are coming together as friends, coworkers, and a community to help ease this burden so Selma and her family can focus on her treatment and on being together during this incredibly difficult time.
