Anyone who has known me over the last 14 years definitely knows my little shadow I call Otis driftwood. Otis just celebrated his 14th birthday last week and we have been gearing up to move to Ottawa so I can go back to school on May 4. Last week we were hit with a bit of unexpected news - Otis has been diagnosed with melanoma in the nail bed of his back foot. The only way to get rid of this cancer is to have his toe amputated which is a very simple procedure and will help prevent the cancer from spreading. Because school starts in a week our funds have all been used up and so with a pounding heart I’m turning to those that I know and love to see if anyone could spare a buck or two to support Otis‘s surgery. This boy is everything to me and I know he’s in a lot of pain. Any little bit helps, even just your thoughts. Thank you for reading!!
