Please help donate to the crew's family.
They recently lost everything to a house fire.
At 2 am, Jennifer and her two handicapped children and her fiancé were awakened by the smell of smoke. In a matter of minutes, the kitchen was in flames. Jennifer got her daughters out of the house in just their T-shirts while her fiancé ran out on the porch in just his underwear to try to put out the fire and save their house. After securing her girls in her car, Jennifer ran back into the house to try to save her dog and her birds, but the house was in flames and the smoke was too thick. After several attempts, she was unsuccessful. Jennifer has heart disease and had a heart attack two years ago. So, Jennifer had to leave her pets in the house knowing they were going to burn to death. After 45 minutes and the house still burning, firefighters brought out her dog alive and with no burns. The house was a total loss, but they are all glad they made it out.
There was no house insurance, and with the farm they have and the two handicapped girls, they were living paycheck to paycheck. There is no way they can rebuild the home they spent their life building, the only home the girls know. The estimate to tear down the house and clean it up is $18,000 alone. Then they need a place to stay in the meantime. And that's not including the clothes or food they need.
If anyone can help and show this mama that people still do care and help and she is not alone, it would be greatly appreciated. Because she feels alone and defeated.
