Help Buddy walk again check your pet insurance!

Hey all ..
this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but I said I’d beg borrow and steal for our 3 year old frenchie to have a chance to walk again. So many people have messaged me offering to help if we set this up so here I am! He’s so young How can they put money on he’s life! Was either 8k or put him to sleep!
Our sweet buddy became paralysed over night. Stiffness started sunday went to the vet , spent a fortune on tests just to take him home with meds hoping it wouldn’t be IVDD and was something easily fixed. Woke up Monday to a boy in agony legs had completely gone and were dragging behind him couldn’t even pee for himself. I had to hold his back end up with a towel so he could drink. I spend all day and night syringing water into his mouth giving him pain meds sobbing! Went back to the vet Monday and we’re referred to the specialists in north downs.
They did the scans and was the worst case IVDD and with rapid onset and paralysis! She’s said if we don’t do something now the nerve damage could travel up his spine and kill him.
In a packed car park with on lookers a specialist came out and told me matter of fact he’s got 50/50 my heart broke! It brought it was going to be more 80-20. So signed a form the scans , the meds , the blood tests, estimated at 8k! Knowing full well my insurance only covered him to 2k because of a IVDD exception clause we’re now looking to raise as much money as possible to get this boy home. Bella is missing him our girl frenchie she won’t eat or drink! She’s whining for him looking all around the house. He’s my daughters best friend how could I put him to sleep with out trying! He’s only 3 I had to try.
I’ve sobbed and screamed so much now I’ve got to do something else , put my head and heart into this crowd funding and hope after all everyone has been though in the last few years we can make something positive happen! Not just for buddy , but I’d love to be able to help other people in our position! I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. If your a pet lover you know they are family and you do what ever it takes.
To the sweet people we met in that car park that day all felt our pain. The lady that literally held me up crying with me! Thank you. Thank you to the loveliest man who collected us in the recovery truck after mikes car didn’t start in the car park of the vets! He didn’t even charge us and said they’d been though enough today. Thank you to everyone who has messaged and well wishes. It’s crazy how much you can love a animal. I don’t want others to have to have a price on Their pets lives it’s the most gut wrenching thing. Killing a animal because of money! The unjustified amounts the vet want is criminal , but how could I have put him to sleep and lived with myself knowing I didn’t try everything I could. I urge you to check your insurance throughly for any exemptions! Small print and then check again. I don’t want anyone to ever be in this situation.
I’ll be great full even just for prayers! But I’ve got to try.. he’s the sweetest boy! Not a bad bone in him. The craziest zoomy loyal friend you could ever have!
